JIPBS allows authors to retain the copyright of their work. Authors are not required to transfer copyright to the journal.

Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to self-archive the following versions of their manuscripts in any Open Archives Initiative (OAI)-compliant repository, personal website, or institutional repository, with no embargo period:

1. Preprint version — the version of the article before peer review
2. Postprint version — the final author-accepted manuscript after peer review, before publisher formatting
3. Publisher's PDF version — the final published version of the article
