Innovative Scientific Publishers takes part in Crossmark, a service of Crossref. The Crossmark button on a work published by Innovative Scientific Publishers tells a reader whether they are reading the current version of it, and shows any correction, retraction or other update to it, with a link to the notice.
1. Editorial policies and review before publication
Our editorial policies: https://jipbs.com/index.php/journal/editorial-policies
Every manuscript is first evaluated by the Editorial Board. Manuscripts that meet the journal's criteria are sent for double-blind peer review to at least two independent experts (editors may add reviewers where necessary), and the editors take the final decision. Details: Peer Review Policy and Peer Review Process.
2. Ethical guidelines
Authors are expected to follow the journal's Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement, based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
3. Reporting a problem with published content
A reader who finds a possible error or other problem in a published work can report it to the editorial office: https://jipbs.com/index.php/journal/contact
4. When a work is corrected, updated or retracted after publication
Errors attributable to the authors are corrected through a corrigendum, and errors attributable to the publisher through an erratum. Where errors significantly affect an article's conclusions, or there is evidence of misconduct, the article may be retracted, or an expression of concern may be published while the matter is investigated. The editors decide, following the COPE Retraction Guidelines: Corrections and Retractions.
5. What happens to retracted or corrected works
A corrected article is updated and linked to its correction notice. A retracted article is not removed: it stays available, clearly marked as retracted, and linked to its retraction notice. An expression of concern is linked to the article and updated with the final outcome.
