Plagiarism Policy

Authors should ensure the originality of their content while preparing a manuscript draft. Where authors have used the work and/or words of others, this must be appropriately cited or quoted. All articles submitted to JIPBS are screened for plagiarism using iThenticate prior to peer review.

If plagiarism is detected during the review or editorial process, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is confirmed after publication, the article will be retracted, and an appropriate retraction notice will be published.

Depending on the seriousness of the case, JIPBS may take further action against the authors, including debarring them from future publication in the journal. Such instances may also be brought to the attention of the authors' funding agencies, their institutions, and the original authors whose work was plagiarized.
