Peer Review Policy

All the manuscripts submitted to the journal will be subjected to a single blinded peer-review process.

Initial Evaluation/Technical Review

All manuscripts submitted for publication in Journal are, firstly, evaluated by the Editorial Board Members. Manuscripts rejected at this stage are insufficiently original, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar or English language, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal, or not written as per the journal's guidelines. Those that meet the minimum criteria are forwarded to at least 2 experts for review.

Peer-review

After the initial evaluation, the manuscripts are sent to a minimum of two suitable referees in the respective subject area for peer-review.

If necessary, the number of referees can be increased by editors.

The comments and suggestions (acceptance/ rejection/ amendments in manuscript) received from reviewers are conveyed to the corresponding author. If required, the author is requested to provide a point by point response to reviewers’ comments and submit a revised version of the manuscript. This process is repeated until reviewers and editors are satisfied with the manuscript.

Final Evaluation

The reports of all the reviewers will be considered while deciding on acceptance/revision or rejection of a manuscript, but the ultimate responsibility for acceptance or rejection lies with the Editor. Editor-In-Chief makes the final decision. The articles accepted for publication by the Editor-In-Chief are placed in an issue sequence.

Time of Peer Review Process

The journal aims to complete the all peer review process within 8 to 10 weeks. This time, however, may vary depending on the amount of revision work that needs to be completed before the manuscript is acceptable.

Manuscripts accepted for publication are copy edited for grammar, punctuation, print style, and format. Galley proofs are sent to the corresponding author. The corresponding author is expected to return the corrected proofs within six days. It may not be possible to incorporate corrections received after that period. The whole process of submission of the manuscript to the final decision and sending and receiving proofs is completed online.
